Michael Jordan has addressed his son Marcus’s romance with Larsa Pippen. Marcus and Larsa have been dating for some time, but it appears that the legendary NBA player does not approve of his son’s relationship with the reality star. Michael seemingly admitted his disapproval over the weekend when paparazzi asked about the relationship.
Michael Jordan Appears Displeased With His Son’s Relationship With Larsa Pippen
Footage from TMZ, showed the former professional basketball player leaving the Matignon after enjoying Sunday dinner in Paris, France.
On his way out, a photographer asked what he thought about the new relationship and if he endorsed it. Micheal laughed, after which he responded, “No!” He then shook his head when the photographer asked again, “You don’t approve?”
Although it is unclear if Micheal was being serious or was just joking, his reaction to the questions has garnered a lot of attention from fans who were already wondering how he felt about his son dating an older woman.
However, Michael’s recent reaction opposes Pippen’s statement on The Tamron Hall Show earlier in February. When asked how Marcus’ family felt about their relationship, she said his parents were okay with it and wanted him to be happy.
Larsa and Marcus’ Relationship Timeline
Marcus and Larsa first sparked dating rumors in September last year. According to the reality star, they started out as friends after meeting at a Los Angeles party four years prior. Once their relationship went public, the couple received a lot of controversy.
The reasons include their age difference and the fact that Larsa’s ex-husband Scottie Pippen and his former teammate Marcus’ dad have had their issues over the years. Despite these issues, Larsa revealed that their romance was not planned, and it just happened.
On the June 20 episode of their podcasts, Separation Anxiety with Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan, the lovers opened up about the possibility of having a family together. They admitted that although they have not had a private, heartfelt conversation, there have been conversations around it. Larsa already has four children with Scottie, including sons Scotty Pippen Jr, 22; Preston Pippen, 21; Justin Pippen, 18; and daughter Sophia Pippen, 14.
