In a matter of days, Microsoft will released Windows 10. The operating system is set to introduced several new features, one of which is multi-tasking capability.

The tech giant has released a video presentation showcasing this new feature. In the video, Microsoft highlight three main features, the Action Center, Task View and Snap Assist.

As cited on Windows Blog, Snap Assist helps users manage the screen with ease. Windows users often open several applications at once, and with this feature, users can display four application running simultaneously on one screen.

To activate snap assist, users can simply drag the application window to the corners of the screen. The OS will also give suggestions on how to fill up the empty spaces on the screen.

Task View simplify desktop management, and allows users to create a virtual desktop to expand their work area. Furthermore, this help users when working on multiple tasks, by placing running applications in a different desktop screen without having to use additional devices.

Finally, there’s Action Center. This feature stores notifications and key settings in one place, allowing users quick access to manage them or take action such as replying to emails or adjust the brightness of the screen without having to open the application.

These three features will be available when Windows 10 officially launch on July 29. Windows 7 and 8 users can update to windows 10 for free.

I play video games (yes, all genre!), and I love to write about them. Not much of a talker, so I decided to pour it into written words. I love devouring a bucket of chicken wings, writing new ideas in my notebook, playing bass guitar, and beating you in Halo.
