No two playthroughs of Roblox A Dusty Trip will be exactly alike; luck sometimes plays a really heavy hand in the outcome. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t make the best of a bad situation; in fact, there are a handful of mistakes you should never make in A Dusty Trip. If you commit these tips to memory, when you eventually do bite the dust, you can at least say you tried your best.
A Dusty Trip: Never Take Your Eyes Off the Road
A Dusty Trip locks the camera to first-person, so you’re always seeing things from your avatar’s perspective, even when you’re driving. Because your view is a lot more narrow, you can easily total your car if you aren’t keeping your eyes to the road. In other words: treat driving the same way you would with a car in real life.
Outside of the mutants and vagabonds, the road is a constant source of danger in A Dusty Trip because of rocks and debris. Even a small, short rock can completely destroy your car and leave you holding nothing but the steering wheel.
Always Have Your Pistol (& a Snack) Riding Passenger
Speaking of mutants—those guys are relentless. You barely have enough time to get out of the car before mutants are trying to tear you apart. This makes it very difficult to arm yourself before they reach you, especially if you’ve stored your weapons in the truck or back seat. My strategy: always have a gun in the front seat.
With your gun so easily accessible, you never have to leave the car to deal with smelly mutants. You can fire off rounds from the safety of your vehicle while downing a delicious cheeseburger or stave off hunger with an apple.
Roblox: Never Steal From Dan in A Dusty Trip
Have you ever noticed just how much junk you come across in A Dusty Trip? It gets a little tedious having to sift through the junk to find good stuff like food, but it does serve a purpose. If you have the space to carry it, you can eventually unload junk onto Dan.
As a shopkeeper, Dan will gladly accept the junk you find, but what he doesn’t tolerate are thieves. Don’t even think about stealing from Dan; it’s a one-way ticket to the afterlife. And if you were thinking of being clever and trying to sell Dan’s goods, he’ll still shoot you.
Handle Dynamite With Care
There’s a really good strategy for getting rid of groups of mutants that doesn’t require you to waste a bunch of ammo. Grab a stick of dynamite, coax the mutants towards an exit (that you can close), light the dynamite, and leave it behind. Sounds easy enough, right?
The problem is you don’t automatically drop the dynamite when it’s lit. You still have to let the dynamite go. Until you get used to doing most of your actions manually, you’ll likely blow yourself up several times in the process. I’ve done it more times than I care to admit.
Don’t Mix Liquids; This Isn’t Chemistry Class
With fuel being your most valuable resource, the last mistake you want to make in Roblox A Dusty Trip is mixing fuels and liquids in general. Gas cans are often filled with more than gasoline, like oil, water, and even diesel. Your vehicle is very sensitive to what you put in the tank. If you were to mix all of those in, say, a gas-powered vehicle, your car won’t even start.
To avoid this, you should first be aware of the different types of engines. Some prefer gasoline, while others prefer diesel, but a gas-powered car won’t accept diesel and vice-versa. Lastly, you can let the contents of your tank leak out until it’s free of water and oil, but keep in mind your fuel will leak out at the same time.
