As soon as they entered the house, she noticed two things. The first was that the house was completely dirty, which made a lot of parents there uncomfortable. The second thing was a lot worse.
What the Montana mom noticed was that the family had on their fridge a lot of her daughter’s artwork. It wasn’t just that, but they also had pictures of her and their own kid. If it were just the artwork, it might not be as worrying, but having pictures is pretty bizarre. The situation became more suspicious because the family has five kids. If they have all these kids, why would they even display her daughter’s stuff? In a follow-up video, the mom shared new information that made everything more terrifying. She said that the access to her daughter’s pictures must have come from the school’s website. This is because the website has pictures of the students on it and they can be downloaded. To imagine that a family went out of their way to print out pictures of a kid that isn’t their own is definitely weird.
After providing the context, the mom mentioned what happened recently that made her worry more. Her daughter told her friend while they were on the bus that they should have playdates together. As soon as both girls went home, the father of her daughter’s friend called her twice and texted her. He identified himself and said that their kids were supposed to be playing together today. Of course, this was a misunderstanding since they hadn’t set a date yet. He also said that he wasn’t going to send his daughter over on her own to get her friend and come back to their house. The mom made sure to say in her video that she wasn’t comfortable letting her kid go over to their house, especially when that’s exactly what they want.
The Montana mom then informed him that they can’t set up a playdate on a school night. Instead of respecting her wishes, the dad did the exact opposite. He went to their house on a school day and kept banging loudly on their door, which scared the mom. When she opened the door, he told her that he knew it wasn’t the weekend. Despite this, he asked if their kids could play together. So he has the daughter’s pictures and artwork, he didn’t respect the mom’s wishes, and he is weirdly interested in a playdate happening. Everything about this is uncomfortable.
Next, the father attempted a form of manipulation. “It’s breaking her heart that you aren’t allowing this to happen,” he told the mom. Well, she is your daughter so you are supposed to make her understand people’s boundaries. That if his daughter was actually insisting on that playdate. When the mom informed him that it wasn’t a good time, he told her that he needed her to tell his kid no. She ended up explaining to the little girl why she was refusing.
