Undead Labs, the studio behind the acclaimed State of decay, is releasing their latest game Moonrise on Steam early access just next week. Eventually being a free-to-play, the early access will feature two bundles priced at $14.99 and $19.99. Each bundle with include Early Access to Moonrise, boosters, special skins and in-game currency.

Moonrise is an upcoming free-to-play real-time tactical “creature battler”, putting the player in the shoes of a “warden,” a trainer of monsters – called Solari – tasked with curing the Moonrise corruption, while gathering a team strong enough to defeat both NPCs and other player Wardens alike. Along the way, players will learn “details of the forgotten history of the world”, and have the chance to customize their Wardens, as well as acquiring gear to complement their combat strategy.

Battle savage Lunari as you explore the world of Moonrise, from the sleepy town of Gateway to the treetop community of Kijang Village. Cure these Lunari of their corruption and recruit them to your team, building a customized roster of friendly Solari to stand with you in battle. Explore dungeons such as the abandoned Gazira Mines or the sinister Mesachie Ruins to find and recruit the rarest, most powerful Solari to your team!

Along with the announcement, a new gameplay trailer was also released:

Moonrise will be available in early access for both Mac and Windows PC on May 27th.

You can find out more about the bundles here.
