NetherRealm Studios has launched the Day One update patch notes for Mortal Kombat 1. The update aims to improve gameplay in general and includes handy innovations such as the addition of Season 1 content for Invasions mode. Not limited to these, many additional finishing moves have been included in the game. We recommend that you update your game promptly to apply the recent changes and fixes to your saved file.   • Added and fleshed out accessibility options
  • Character polish and tuning pass
  • Added numerous additional finishing moves
  • Improved and refined UI to include additional new options

Invasions

  • Substantial revisions and polish on various encounters
  • General UI Improvements
  • General bug fixes
  • Rebalanced boss fights
  • Adjusted mesa progression
  • Added Season 1 content
  • Added challenge towers in the gateway mesa

Story

  • Improvements to the movie player
  • Visual polish to numerous scenes
  • Tuning of the story finale and final boss
  • 4k resolution movies added

Online

  • Improvements to matchmaking
  • Bug fixes to online modes

Nintendo Switch

General

  • Enables additional character/kameo roster, additional arenas, and customization
  • Enables full tutorials, fatality practice, and practice mode

The changes that arrived with the patch are mentioned above. Although it’s not an extensive version overall, it’s recommended to install it as it includes valuable bug fixes and other additions. Lastly, this version is accessible on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and Nintendo Switch platforms.
