Out of every single leaker and insider’s sight, a new kameo fighter was introduced alongside with the Terminator guest character for Mortal Kombat 1, and she’s none other than Madam Bo! The owner of the Fengjian Tea House and the master of drunk Kung Fu fighting style is coming to Mortal Kombat 1 and her abilities such as kicking the enemy’s head off their body is showcased in a new trailer.
Mortal Kombat 1 has altered many of the stories we knew and loved from the original timeline. For example, Kuai Liang, AKA the second Sub-Zero, is Scorpion now, and Kenshi is not Takeda’s father anymore. Another one of these shifts is that Bo Rai Cho seemingly turned into Madam Bo in Liu Kang’s timeline, teaching Raiden and Kung Lao the very way of fighting, just like Bo Rai Cho did for the mortal Liu Kang.
The trailer kicks off with a cutscene from MK1‘s main story, referencing Kung Lao and Raiden’s training with Madam Bo. The whole fight also takes place in her Tea House and well, seems like Madam Bo is one OP kameo fighter for chaining combos in Mortal Kombat 1.
You can spawn Madam Bo to hit the opponent from the back, ask her to give you her drink, or let her ignite the enemy’s face with her cigar. This means that you can completely reset your position during a combo, let Fengjian’s best Kung Fu master cook, and then continue your chained attacks to further drain the poor opponent’s health bar.
Madam Bo and T-1000 will join Mortal Kombat 1 as part of the Kombat Pack 2 DLC update on March 18, 2025. It’s worth the mention that while T-1000 is a premium character, you won’t need to own Kombat Pack 2 to unlock Madam Bo in MK1.
