Fatality fans rejoice! The new gameplay trailer for Mortal Kombat X‘s new DLC characters will be dropping next week.

Announced by creative director Ed Boon via Twitter, NetherRealm Studios will be showing off the unique move sets of  the four fighters. For those of you who may have forgotten, the four new fighters include the Texas Chainsaw Massacre horror film series antagonist Leatherface, a xenomorph from the Alien film franchise, the drunken fighter Bo’ Rai Cho, and a robot named Tri-Borg.

There specific fighting styles and fatalities have been kept secret, but it seems we will soon see what they are all capable of. That being said, an interesting thing to note is all of the film based characters are not owned by the same company. The original company who owned Halloween, Compass International Pictures has closed and rights have been obtained by Dimension Films. They are owned by The Weinstein Company while Aliens is a Twentieth Century-Fox property and Friday the 13th is owned by Platinum Dunes. It’s clear that NeatherRealm Studios has no real deal with just one film company when it comes to bringing characters into Mortal Kombat X, so the possibilities are quite large for who could be next. Personally, I would love to see either the Terminator or RoboCop thrown into the roster…Nemesis would be awesome too.

Make sure to check back next week for the new gameplay trailer for Kombat Pack 2!

What do you think of the new list of Mortal Kombat X characters? Anyone you’d like to join the cast? Sound off below!
