This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information.

It’s been a while since Bungie has done a collaboration, and they announced another one just in time for all the excitement surrounding the Season of the Wish. I’m not going to lie, even reading the announcement has forced an endless loop of “Toss a Coin to Your Witcher” to play through my head. But you know what? I’m not disappointed. The White Wolf himself, Geralt of Rivia, has finally made his way into Destiny 2, and I can’t wait to suit up in some Witcher armor. Honestly, who wouldn’t want to suit up and run around looking like the Butcher of Blaviken?

Whatever it is that you call him, The While Wolf, Gwynleidd, or even the Butcher of Blaviken, Geralt of Rivia has finally made an appearance in Destiny 2. This appearance will be highlighted in an awesome armor set that resembles that which Henry Cavill wears in the popular Netflix series, The Witcher.

While we might not be able to travel, fighting off the evils that plague our lands in the form of Djinns, Strigas, and Ghouls, while siding with the elusive Golden Dragons, we can still ride around on our Sparrows in style. However, I’m not sure we’ll be able to pull off the armor quite like Geralt does. He does set a pretty high bar in that department.

The unique armor set will arrive in Destiny 2 in the near future, after Bungie releases a trailer and more details to us. At this time, there is no set release date for the armor or start date for the collaboration, but it will likely be around the release of the Season of the Wish toward the end of November or near the beginning of December.

Jordan is an experienced fantasy writer who spends hours behind her laptop, and lost in the pages of a book. She strives to be a successful gaming blogger, and has no complaint about the hours of game time she used to increase her knowledge of all things “geek”. She primarily writes gaming articles and fantasy novels. Ark: Survival Evolved is a favorite, along with Diablo 3, Warframe and Minecraft lately, though you can’t forget the good old Magic the Gathering card game! Writing about games truly gives her joy as it gives her another perspective to look at games from, a reason to really look into the mechanics of the game.
