My son, Brayden, and I unboxed our Munchpak on The Nerd Stash Twitch channel and showed the viewers what was inside and taste-tested everything. Now, we going to share what we found with you.
First, we have some peach flavored Popping Candy. Yes, that’s the name of it. It is very much like Pop Rocks or any of those other candies that pop when you put it in your mouth. And, it was peach flavored instead of cherry, blue raspberry or sour apple (or any of those other crazy flavors). Not bad.
Next, we had some Tozinetas Fred and, as you can tell by the photo, these were bacon flavored snacks. These reminded me of pork rinds. If you like pork rinds, you’d probably eat these too.
There seems to be some brand of ketchup flavored chips in many of these boxes. These were Covered Bridge Ketchup Potato Chips and they tasted very much like chips with ketchup flavoring. Again, if you are a fan of ketchup, you would probably love these.
How about some Kathy Kaye Glazed Birthday Cake Flavored Popcorn? Anytime you can put popcorn and birthday cake in the same sentence it has to be good, right? These didn’t disappoint. They were very similar to caramel corn or some other glazed popcorn flavor.
One of Brayden’s favorite candy is Cow Tales. This puts Cow Tales and something like a Rice Krispies treat together into one. It was actually pretty good.
I wasn’t sure what to expect with this package but it turned out to be some strawberry flavored gummies they called Strawberry Yogurt Jelly. Brayden enjoyed them.
This Lotte Pepero is like small pretzels filled with soft chocolate. They were pretty tasty.
The next item was this Nestle Cocosette is like a wafer cookie with a coconut flavor. It’s not bad but if you don’t like coconut, don’t bother.
Nestle Milo Galletas are Colombian chocolate flavored sandwich cookies. They were very tasty, as well.
Balconi Snack al latte – This Italian snack cake would make a nice treat with a cup of coffee. It’s a sponge caked with a cream filling.
As we travel the country of snacks, let’s go to the UK and get some Rowntrees Jelly Tots. They are little jelly snacks and have flavors such as Orange, Blackcurrant, Strawberry, Lemon, and Lime. One of Brayden’s top picks of the box.
There is typically at least one beverage in these boxes and I was pretty curious about this one. I didn’t know if the fact it had Milkis on the side meant it was milk and then I saw peach. I wasn’t prepared for peach-flavored milk. In fact, I’m not a milk drinker of any kind. But, to my happy surprise, it was like a carbonated peach drink. It was actually pretty good.
If you like to try new snacks and get a taste of what the rest of the world eats, Munchpak is definitely the way to check it out. You can see just in this box alone, there were snacks from Italy, UK, Mexico, Columbia and more. Another great feature is the fact that you can customize your box or order to what you’d like to receive, how often you’d like to receive it and you can choose the size of the box, as well. Head over and check out all the cool snacks they have available!
