If you’re new to Naraka and don’t know where to start, you will like our list of the best characters for beginners in Naraka Bladepoint. This game has fast and spectacular battles requiring good character control and excellent reactions. Usually, it is difficult for beginners to understand all the game’s mechanics because they choose a character with difficult gameplay. That is why choosing the right character that will perfectly suit your gaming style is very important. This guide will tell you how to avoid such mistakes and help you choose the best fighter.
Best Characters for Beginners in Naraka Bladepoint
Before you can go into battle against real players, you will need to reach level 20 on your account. This should be enough time to try several characters and understand their basic mechanics. But still, before you go into a real battle, you need to know more than just the character’s skill and attacks. Understanding all of their combo sets and the strategy you should use is important. From the very beginning of the game, you will have seven characters to play as. Nevertheless, we can highlight only three that are best suited for beginners, namely:
Each of them is unique in its own way and will not be difficult to learn. Below we will talk more about each of them and provide tips on how to play.
Temulch
Perfectly balanced and probably one of the most universal characters in Naraka Bladepoint. Powerful attacks combined with good defense make Temulch an ideal warrior. He’s an excellent option for beginners because he doesn’t require complicated moves to survive in battle. You can also easily learn its combat mechanics to react to attacks in time and counterattack or chase enemies. Skills are also an important part of character development. Among all his skills, we want to highlight some of the most effective ones and tell you about them:
- Zephyr Wisp – an ideal choice for close combat. When you use this skill, Temulch jumps into the air and forms three sand wisps around him. You can safely go into close combat without fear of being shot because the sand wisp will protect you from ranged attacks. In addition, you can hit an enemy with this sand to immobilize them for a certain period, giving you a chance to deal significant damage. Another bonus is that you can break the enemy’s combos when you use this skill by jumping to the top.
- Zephyr Prison – Temulch’s ultimate. Using this ability, the character creates a huge sandstorm within a certain radius. Enemies that fall within this radius will be slowed down and knocked back occasionally. Unlike enemies, Temulch will be able to move freely and will not be slowed down. When enemies are in Zephyr Prison, they will have almost no chance of avoiding your attacks, even if they go outside the radius, because they will also be slowed down there.
Yoto Hime
Yoto Hime is probably the best character for beginners. Its mechanics are pretty easy to understand and master. The little girl with the giant blade stands out from the crowd with her damage. With the right combination of attacks and skills, you can kill enemies while restoring your health. Here are the skills she has:
- Spirit Slash – powerful basic skill. Yoto Hime takes off into the air and uses her blade to attack nearby enemies, dealing significant damage.
- Ominous Blade – Yoto Hime goes into a demonic state and pulls out a giant blade. You can drop your weapon and then teleport to it. Using combinations of strikes, you can inflict lethal damage on enemies while regenerating your own HP and armor.
Viper Ning
A fairly popular character in Naraka Bladepoint that both beginners and experienced players use. Gamers get to know this character from the very beginning as they complete a tutorial playing her. If you like her from the start and understand how to play her, we recommend that you continue to develop your skill using this character. If you don’t like the aggressive style of play, then she won’t suit you 100%. To prove it, we’ll tell you about her skills:
- Yushan Enigma Lockdown. With it, you can block enemies from using their skills. It’s a handy skill because you can perform a good combo while controlling the enemy during this time.
- Twilight Crimson – Viper Ning’s ultimate ability. When she uses this ability, she can’t attack, but the God of Yin’s eye appears on the battlefield. It marks enemies nearby, then disappears and stuns them for 5 seconds. This ability gives you a great advantage and time to consider further strategies. If done correctly, you can destroy several enemies at once.
