Neon White was released just less than a week ago and is already taking the gaming world by storm. Racking up some great reviews among critics, alongside an Overwhelmingly Positive rating on Steam, it’s clear fans are in love with White’s speedy adventures across Heaven. With so many playing, there’s no doubt a lot of you have made it to the finale of the game and the concluding missions, and wish to see how each ending plays out. If you’re having trouble figuring out how to do this though, then we’re here to help. In this guide, we’ll explain how to unlock every ending in Neon White!
How to Unlock Every Ending in Neon White
FINAL WARNING: This guide includes spoilers on each ending for Neon White. You’ve been warned
For starters, you’ll need to make sure you’re on mission 12 if you wish to experience the first of the two endings. This mission includes two levels, with the first seeing White attempt to stop Red from detonating her mask and opening the hole for god’s other hand to make its way back into Sheol. The second sees you do battle with and eventually defeat Neon Green, culminating in you getting the Inkhorn and having the power to choose what you do with Green. This is where your choice of ending comes in, either writing Green into the Book of Life and forgiving him for his actions both past and present, or writing him into the Book of Death, sending him where he belongs for all the hardship he’s caused. To get the first ending is fairly obvious, as you simply choose one of the two options.
To get the second ending though is likely where many of you are stuck. If you go back to the Job Archive and select the Neon Green battle again, you’ll simply fight him again and it’ll give you your completion time, sending you back to the Archive upon completion. What you instead need to do is continue the mission, which should bring you straight back and let you fight him again, only this time allowing you to choose the other ending you didn’t pick. This not only nets you the respective achievement, but lets you see what happens if you chose differently. Either way, hope you enjoy both endings and enjoyed your time playing Neon White!
