It’s time to highlight another Funko Pop! series courtesy of Nested Universe. Funko Pop release a set of vinyl figures from Netflix’s Daredevil and we were given the opportunity to take a look at the set and share our thoughts.
There are 4 figures in the set and the first one in the series was #119 Daredevil Masked Vigilante.
Obviously, this is a representation Daredevil who is Matt Murdock, a blind lawyer during the day and a crime fighter at night. The first thing you notice is the fact his eyes are covered up. But, why wouldn’t they be if he’s blind? Right?
This was the next one in the series, #120 – Daredevil. This representation of Daredevil is the one you think of when you think of this character.
As previously mentioned, Daredevil’s daytime identity was Matt Murdock, the blind lawyer. This Pop! by Funko represents Mr. Murdock well and makes sure you are aware he is blind by including his stick and the different colored lenses in his glasses. This character is played by Charlie Cox. Do you think they got it right?
The fourth figure in this series is Wilson Fisk, #122. He is a supervillain within the Marvel comics and is also known as Kingpin.
This character was played by Vincent D’Onofrio and one difference some notice was the missing white suit usually associated with him. Even so, what do you think? Does the Pop! figure match the real guy?
