Netflix Reveals its Fall 2021 Original Movie Release Schedule

As the streaming wars rage on, the Netflix release schedule for a full slate of original movies has been revealed for the rest of the year.

Back in January of 2021, the streaming giant, Netflix, unveiled its plans to release at least 70 new, original movies this year. So far, they have already added 85 original movies to their service. But, there are so many more on the way!

This fall, streamers can expect to see new content on Netflix like Don’t Look Up, a comedy starring Jennifer Lawerence and Leonardo DiCaprio, or The Harder They Fall, a western with Jonathan Majors and Idris Elba. Other titles include follow-ups to prior Netflix movies, such as Army of Thieves, which serves as a prequel to Zach Snyder’s Army of the Dead.

Here is the full Netflix release schedule for original movies for the rest of the year:

September:

  • Afterlife of the Party (9/2)
  • Worth (9/3)
  • Blood Brothers: Malcolm X & Muhammad Ali (9/9)
  • Kate  (9/10)
  • Nightbooks (9/15)
  • Schumacher (9/15)
  • Intrusion (9/22)
  • The Starling (In theaters 9/17 and on Netflix 9/24)
  • My Little Pony: A New Generation (9/24)
  • No One Gets Out Alive (9/29)
  • Sounds like Love (9/29)

October:

Although some Netflix original movies do not have exact dates yet, they do have months selected for their release. However, Netflix could always shift things around. The streaming giant could also add more titles in the coming months.
