Nevada Resident Attacked by Two Violent Thugs, Stomped On, and Left with a Bloody Face: ‘Attempted Murder’

I hope they get caught.

One-versus-one fights are always ugly, but what’s even worse is when two people are going against one person. A fight in Reno, Nevada saw a Nevada resident knocked out on the pavement while two thugs stood near him. He wouldn’t have fought back because he couldn’t even stand up, but the two refused to leave him alone. One of them used a discarded cap and hit the guy in the face with it. He then stomped on his chest with a lot of force while his associate used the cap to attack their victim once more. Still, this wasn’t enough for them. The one who stomped on the guy decided to punch him in the face as well before they finally walked away.

In the rest of the video, you can see people gathering around the Nevada resident who was still knocked out. Someone seemed to be calling the police while another was checking if the guy still had a pulse or not. Since they moved his face to the right, you could see how bloody it was. It’s almost unrecognizable. The video ends with two police cars at the scene, and one officer kneeling to check on the victim. It’s not clear if an ambulance was already there or not, since the guy was still on the ground.

People Reacting to the Attack on the Nevada Resident

The majority of reactions to the video were that of outrage plus sympathy for the victim. Many pointed out that such a cruel attack should be treated as attempted murder. One person said, “hitting someone in the head when they are knocked out should be treated as attempted murder.” Another believed that the two thugs should have just walked away. “Way to kick a person when they are down. He should have just walked away when it was over. What a punk,” they said. Since there was some argument on whether this attack would be treated as attempted homicide or not, someone provided a rundown of the injuries the victim might have sustained:

“Yeah most definitely. Getting into a fight and accidentally almost killing someone is bad enough. That can happen just from a single punch. But if he’s able to brace for it a lot less damage is more likely to occur. Already knocked out and laid out. A stomp onto the ribs with no brace, those ribs are broken and that could very easily be a punctured lung. A head hit with no brace on a neck that’s partially on the curb, be lucky if there’s not a broken neck or jaw. That’s most definitely attempted murder at a minimum and should be prosecuted as such.”

Aside from coming after the two thugs, one person noted how the first one to check on the victim was a homeless person. “Don’t know about the guy on the ground but the first person who checked on him appears to be a homeless person. Hope they got some help for doing that,” they wrote. If only everyone could have acted like that and stopped the attack.
