Today we got our first look at the Apex Legends Season 7: Ascension content, and it’s beautiful. There’s so much to look forward to and even more to break down, so let’s get right into it! The launch trailer just premiered, and it’s packed with a bunch of goodies that you might have missed!

So what’s new in Apex Legends Season 7: Ascension?

Let’s start with the newest addition to the roster – Horizon! A completely new legend that escaped a black hole! This genius astrophysicist joins the world of Apex Legends not only to compete but to fulfill a promise to her son. Wielding the power of gravity on her side, Horizon will be a great asset to any squad looking to become champion.

New Map: Olympus

Olympus – the beautiful island in the sky! This new map is being introduced in Season 7. It’s a vital scenery change. Unlike Kings Canyon and World’s Edge, Olympus features lush clouds and a much more angelic arena. The setting is perfect for a relaxing vacation or a squad wipe, whichever you prefer.

New Vehicle: The Trident

Apex Legends will now feature a new transportation system! The Trident is a vehicle that is exclusive to the Olympus map. Olympus is huge, and running on foot isn’t always the best option. The Trident will help players not only explore and discover the treasures of Olympus but stay in the ring as well!

Apex Legends is headed to Steam!

That’s right! Apex Legends is will available on steam and launch alongside Season 7! The even greater news is that Origin’s progress is set to carry over! Players should also look out for some cool valve charms to attach to their weapons!

New: Clubs

Much like the clan system that is utilized is most shooter titles we see today, clubs are being introduced in Season 7. Players will have the option to create and build with players who share similar skill sets and play styles.
