If Call of Duty: Warzone is known for one thing, that’s bugs. And Verdansk, yes. However, the number of bugs that are injected into the game with every seasonal update is just getting out of hand. Not that every other game doesn’t have bugs, but when I download 40 GBs of updates, I’m certainly not loving it when I’m thrown around the map by a teleportation-looking mess in Warzone Ranked Play.
If you’re a daily player in Warzone, then you must be aware of the lags and bugs that seemingly teleport you to the other side of the map while in reality, your teammates are watching you just running around like a headless chicken. At first glance, you might think that this is an internet connectivity issue, and I fell for it too. But how about this:
Call of Duty Pro Teep has run into the same issue in Warzone Ranked Play lately, and it just looks bad. In this video, his teammates are seeing him drive the car while in his point of view, he’s bugged and tossed around the map in a highlights reel-looking scenario. What’s the problem?
The #1 candidate for the source of this issue is the servers. We’ve seen many versions of these server bugs and issues in the past in Warzone like freezing the players or throwing them off the map, and now it’s fake teleportation. It doesn’t have anything to do with your latency or packet loss, it’s just that the server seems like it’s not able to handle the process for a few seconds.
As of right now, Warzone is deeply riddled with bugs that just ruin the experience right from the main menu. Sometimes, I can’t access my Battle Pass tab, I haven’t been able to change my Clan Tag for two seasons now, and a few days ago, I couldn’t even sign into the game because it couldn’t Fetch My Online Profile for whatever reason. Not to mention the smaller issues like not being able to change MW3 weapon camos in loadouts and saves getting removed, etc.
