This new comic book day brings the second book of the much-hyped Dark Nights Metal book, the return of Norman Osborn as Green Goblin and a solo R2-D2 adventure that’s sure to be a blast. Keep reading for additional highlights for the new comic books this week:
Dark Nights Metal #2 (of 6)

Runaways #1
Nico, Karolina, Molly, Chase, Old Lace and even Gertrude are back! After a lengthy absence, the teen team of heroic children of villains is reuniting after nearly a decade off shelves.
This new comic series is debuting ahead of the 2018 live action adaptation of Runaways that will run on Hulu (One of the variant covers even features the live action cast) and will be written by Marvel newcomer, Rainbow Rowell.
Secret Empire: Omega #1
Using the power of Kobik, the sentient Cosmic Cube that put America in the hands of the evil Hydra, Captain America has regained his mind and his belief in life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness… but what comes next? How can the American people, who spent the last year living in fear or being shipped off to prison camps, ever see Steve Rogers the same way again?
Redemption will certainly be a long road, but the inhabitants of the Marvel Universe have seen some intensely messed up stuff over the years. They can probably handle this.
Amazing Spider-Man #32
