A normal Saturday workout session turned into a heated confrontation between a man and the police in a New Jersey gym over his minor son being in the gym with him. The altercation was captured in a video posted on Instagram, which began with the man confronting one of the policemen who had been called in on him. “It’s Saturday morning, and you guys called the cops on me because I want to work out with my son,” he yelled.
Before going on, he asked his son to leave the gym and wait for him outside. He then told the cops that he had no reason to speak with them, since the reason they were called in the first place was no longer an issue, as he was a legal member of the gym. In the second part of the video, the man recorded himself and his son working out before the whole issue started.
He was then shown talking to the two officers, apparently surprised that they were called in for this. He apologized for the waste of time and demanded that they all go to the manager to discuss the issue. Upon getting there, he explained that none of the staff members had told him to leave the premises, so why were they present?
The manager had a brief conversation with the policeman, and immediately after, the officer asked the man to leave. In the caption, the man gave a backstory to what had transpired before they began recording the exchange. He explained that the gym allowed members to invite guests, and he brought his son. A member of staff came and demanded to see an ID, which his son did not have.

If it’s that important, have him come see me when he’s done,” and my son and I went to work out,’” the caption read. The next time he would see the manager, the police was present.
