Anyone can enjoy all kinds of shows and sports, although I’ve never wondered how people who have limited hearing, sight, or other senses do it. Well, that was until today. On Reddit, a video went viral showing a New Jersey influencer enjoying an NBA game with a gadget that helps him to know what’s going on despite being blind. It’s impressive how, thanks to science and technology, there are ways to make it more accessible and include more people to enjoy something that otherwise would be impossible.

The NBA is so amazing for doing this

The Redditor UltraBased69 shared the video on r/TikTokCringe, although the original video is from TikTok user asfvision. Asfvision is actually New Jersey influencer Anthony Ferraro, who is also a well-known skateboarder, judo fighter, and motivational speakerand who talks a lot about his life as a blind person. Anthony shows in the video how he went to an NBA game where he got a tactile gadget in which he could feel the players’ positions, check the score, and listen to the scoreboard in real time.

I love discovering that technology like this exists!

Anthony’s genuine reactions touched many users after using the tactile device. Even others were heart-melted to see the face and energy of true happiness at being more involved in what may seem like simply being a spectator at a basketball game.

He said he never realized they moved around the court that fast 🥺😢

According to Anthony’s TikTok and the description of this gadget, it is the result of a partnership between The Portland Trailblazers, OneCourt, and Ticketmaster. So, with this technology, more people with limited vision will have a more complete experience when going to a game on one of these special courts. Many of the comments also hope that, with time, this type of device will be available to watch games on TV, and people can enjoy them from their homes. So, we hope that technologies like this expand to more places and more shows for everyone.
