When it comes to rocky launches there are many games out there that had one. Of the ones that made some big splashes we have Cyberpunk 2077, Forspoken, and a few years ago, New World. This last promised to be a huge MMO that had a focus on PvP that then added some PvE content to get more people. While the player numbers were huge when it launched, some people just couldn’t get past the bugs, automated bans, and more. Still, with all those things, the developers behind the game have worked to make this MMO a good one and they are doing it. Right now, New World just announced its Season 1: Fellowship and Fire which is bringing a Season Pass and a lot of content for players to tackle.
New World Season 1: Fellowship and Fire adds a Season Pass, a new Expedition, and more
If you were looking for things to keep you playing the game for a while, you have one now. As we all know, Season Passes are a controversial thing for some players but they are a way to keep players hooked. Here we think it is a nice idea to have one as long as it doesn’t have a premium tier if you’ve already paid for the full game. Sadly, that’s the case for New World. While there is no subscription fee attached to the game, you’ll need to pay $20 to buy the Season Pass of Season 1: Fellowship and Fire. Some players like this and some don’t.

While the price tag on a Season Pass is something that many people don’t like, we can’t deny that this new update brings a lot of content. Besides the heap of activities and challenges players have now to get Seasonal experience, there’s even more out there. A new expedition, new abilities, and more. So, if you have this game in your library and haven’t played it in a while, this is the time. You can try Season 1: Fellowship and Fire of New World for free or get the Season Pass if you want to get all the rewards.
