  • Best Late Game House Locations in New World
This article is over 1 years old and may contain outdated information.

New World allows you to have three houses at once in different game locations, which provides various benefits, from fast travel to your homes to additional storage for resources and slots for trophies. Choosing the best house largely depends on the territorial possessions of your faction, as this directly affects the cost of NPS services, travel, and the amount of tax on the house, but this is just the tip of the iceberg. Because the rule of factions does not last forever, a much more important factor for buying a house in the New World is the position and surrounding areas, and then we will tell you about the best locations.

Where To Buy Your First House in New World

While choosing a location to buy the best first home in New World can be confusing for many players, we recommend starting with Everfall or Brightwood. It is not worth protracting to buy your first home to get to higher-level locations. This way, you will lose a lot of advantages that will help you progress faster. Plus, Everfall and Brightwood are pretty good for beginners.

In addition to a wide variety of flora and fauna that allow newcomers to accumulate a lot of resources and develop professions, these locations are the focus of economic activity on most servers. Greater competition in the market generates lower prices, which is the main criterion for new players with empty pockets. At this stage, you don’t have to worry about top drops from bosses or farming level 65 portals, which means these starting locations are the best choice for buying a house.

It is worth clarifying that we offer Everfall or Brightwood as transfer points. As you level up, you can replace this location at the Inn Placement at Shattered Mountain. But for starters, even a little house for 5,000 will be enough for you. It will allow you to get a fast travel point leading to the center of economic activity of the game world. In addition, fast travel does not have weight debuffs, so you can load to the maximum and instantly return home every 2-4 hours, depending on the house you purchased. With the extra inventory and trophy buffs, buying a house in these locations is critical to quickly progressing at the start of your adventure.

Best Late Game House Locations in New World

As soon as you increase the level, the money issue, high taxes, and prices of goods will no longer be a decisive factor. On the contrary, now you are looking for more profitable locations with better farming zones nearby or in surrounding areas. You can still choose your next home based on the territorial holdings of your faction, but we will list the most preferred locations that will allow you to cover most of the game world.

Ebonscale Reach

Ebonscale Reach is a great place to start your late-game adventure and buy a house in this location in the New World. The flora and fauna of this location are as good as in Brightwood, but the prices for goods and services are slightly higher. However, something else is much more essential. This location is famous for its 62-65 level portals and challenges that are hard to reach from other locations. In addition, there are several challenges like the Imperial Palace. Opening chests and boxes in such places guarantees rare items and products that unlock level 5 recipes for you.
Having a house in this location ensures you can quickly clear all the portals and challenges and get the top drop without risking missing the event due to the long distance. Again, you can fill your entire inventory and fast-travel to your home without the overload debuff.

Reekwater

As one of the high-level locations, Reekwater offers a lot of benefits beyond the bonuses from buying a home:
First, you can buy a house next to the Town Board, allowing you to sign up for the war whenever you want.
This location also allows you to visit several dangerous challenges, including Eternal Pool, Lazarus Instrumentality, and Siren Queen’s Lair.
This location is also full of 65-level portals with excellent drops, which are hard to get to if you do not have a house in this area.
Finally, Reekwater is a paradise for players specializing in cooking. Eventually, only in this area, you can visit a small food cart with rare ingredients like spices or oils. Having this store under the house is fantastic.

Shattered Mountain

Finally, it is worth mentioning Shattered Mountain. We have already said that Brightwood is an excellent starting location because it is adjacent to both low-level and high-level locations and offers many advantages. But you can get to this place with Ebonscale Reach. But getting to the northern edge of the game world is much more difficult.

Having visited Shattered Mountain for the first time, you are unlikely to want to overcome this path a second time, and purchasing an Inn Placement in this location is a logical step. The northern reaches of Shattered Mountain offer a ton of high-level content and some of the best rewards in the game. It is a dangerous place whose difficulty equals its reward. We do not recommend rushing to move to this area. But if you can overcome the challenges of Reekwater without any problems, moving from Brightwood to Shattered Mountain can be quite rewarding.

To summarize, here are all the best house locations in the New World:

  • Everfall or Brightwood (Early Game)
  • Ebonscale Reach (Late Game)
  • Reekwater (Late Game)
  • Shattered Mountain (Late Game)
