She describes the situation as really weird, as her “neighbors aren’t close” to her house. Therefore, she can’t understand how the ID could have been accidentally dropped on her property. The New York woman states, “That took effort to get here.” What troubles her is trying to figure out how her security cameras didn’t register anything. The only conclusion the woman makes is that the neighbor potentially walked around the cameras. Then the ID “must have fallen out of their pocket.”
She doesn’t want to immediately assume the worst. Since they’ve had recent power outages, it’s possible they were checking the property for damage while she was in the city. Though the New York woman admits, “I’m a little freaked out.” However, she has posted a follow-up video after contacting her neighbor. The woman states she received a text saying her neighbor “just realized [she] did not have it.” After returning the ID, the lady thanked her and claimed she has no idea how it got in the woman’s yard. She describes her neighbor as “being evasive” before changing the subject.
