Tyler, “Ninja,” Blevinsjust announced he will be exclusively streaming on Mixer. Ninja started his career with Twitch. He started playing Fortnite regularly with his viewership skyrocketing. This led to him making a name for himself in the streaming community. He then took it a step further with playing games with a few of the biggest names in the industry. Such include Drake, Travis Scott, and Juju Smith-Schuster. He became the face of the Fortnite streaming community on Twitch. Now Microsoft made a deal with Tyler Belvins to leave Twitch and start streaming on Mixer, Microsoft’s exclusive streaming platform. It is no surprise Microsoft made a deal to grab one of the biggest streamers. Microsoft may even be giving him more than the initial big check for moving on over to Mixer.

Ninja revealed his move to streaming on Mixer now with a video on his Twitter. The video had him on the stand explaining the exclusive deal to a bunch of reporters, which was him dressed in different outfits. The video did not go into too many specifics of the deal. It’s just an announcement ad sponsored by Mixer stating the collaboration now between the two. Ninja did make a follow-up video to the ad saying he has been holding on to the news for some time now.

According to Twitch Tracker, Blevins has almost 15,000 subscribers on Twitch. Twitch is an Amazon-owned company with most of those subscribers coming from their Amazon Prime account. Amazon Prime members can enjoy one free subscription to their choice of streamer on Twitch. Twitch Prime as its called is just the collaboration of an Amazon Prime account with your Twitch account. One of the perks of being an Amazon Prime member.

Mixer even though there isn’t a Prime version, still gives streamers features Twitch does not. Mixer allows for streamers to give their controls over to the viewers watching. Streamers can also co-stream with up to three of their friends. The community involved with Mixer is something Twitch hasn’t matched. Twitch is still the most popular site to stream to though. Mixer reported them having an increase of 37 percent in the number of channels on the platform. Thus bringing the total number of channels on Mixer to watch at 1.97 million. Mixer is definitely gaining some attention over the last few months and now with Ninja joining the crew who knows where it’ll be in the coming months. Tell us in the comments below if there is the right move for both Ninja and Mixer.
