While we were all expecting to see new games and accessories for the Nintendo Switch 2, we were not ready to see the revival of Amiibos. These figures have been a big part of Nintendo, and some of its games usually provide players with many interesting bonuses. However, they’ve been a bit scarce lately. Thankfully, the reveal of the Nintendo Switch 2 brought them back from their dusty corner, and we’re already getting four new Amiibo figures from The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and an extra one that will launch later.

As you can see, four Amiibo figures from Tears of the Kingdom are coming on June 5. These figures include Tulin, Yunobo, Riju, and Sidon. According to the official announcement, these figures will each give a piece of fabric, weapons, and materials for Link’s glider. The materials and weapons are still uncertain, but they’ll surely be great boons for those who are still exploring Hyrule.

Furthermore, another Amiibo is coming later, featuring a Mineru’s construct. There isn’t a release date for this one or details about what it will give players in the game. Still, it is great to see these figures coming back for the new platform.

While this might not be a big deal for many, let’s remember that the Amiibo figures have been scarce lately. In 2024, we only had nine new figures, including a few from Splatoon and even Sora from Kingdom Hearts. While these new Amiibos will arrive in June, we’re hopeful to see other new ones, especially with all the new games coming to the Nintendo Switch 2.
