There is currently no downloadable content under development for PlayStation 4 horror game Until Dawn.
In a recent AMA (ask me anything) on reddit.com, Supermassive Games Executive Creator Director Will Byles and Design Director Tom Heaton answered questions from users regarding the studios’ future projects, specifically Until Dawn. Reddit user queues the pain asked if there were any DLC in the works that would allow players to save certain characters from in-game deaths, to which Supermassive Games responded “We are currently not working on any DLC for Until Dawn at the moment.”
Instead, Supermassive Games revealed they have already started development on a new title “Without giving too much away, we are already working on our next game, and we think and hope that Until Dawn fans will love it.” But don’t expect an announcement anytime soon “We are at very early stages at the moment, so we’re not even thinking about an announcement yet.” the developers responded.
When asked if there was any truth to the much rumored virtual reality edition of Until Dawn, Supermassive Games coyly responded “We’re not able to discuss these rumours today. Sorry.” Perhaps simply being too optimistic, the wording of “today” gives hope.
Until Dawn was released exclusively for the PS4 August 2015, to much critical and modest commercial success.
