A North Carolina Amazon driver calls out a customer for allegedly making him walk a super-long driveway. In the TikTok video, CJ explains he’s not trying to complain, but he sometimes feels like customer requests go a little too far. His video has quickly spread online with over 408,000 views, over 31,000 likes, and over 3,000 comments.
CJ has been posting videos of his routes since he started working for Amazon. One focus has been customer requests, which, to him, can get a little crazy. He prefaces the video with: “This is another one right here.” By this, he refers to a specific request the customer allegedly made. According to CJ, he was told, “Do not step on my grass. Do not go on my driveway.”
He shows the length of the driveway, which “wraps all the way around there to the side of the house.” The road curves in the distance before ending at a basketball hoop by the house. CJ states, “These requests are getting crazy.” This is similar to a video he posted a few days ago when a customer instructed him to walk the package to the enclosed porch.
Thousands React To North Carolina Video
Thousands in the comments side with CJ and feel the driveway was too long to walk. Most have the same suggestion, telling him: “Unable To Deliver ✌🏾.” Other drivers share what they do when they see a request like that. One says, “I mean, if I can’t go on the driveway, that means on foot too. So I can’t get to your house at all. Leaving it at the end of the driveway.” Another commenter says, “I would have lied and said it was a dog out there and I couldn’t deliver it bc nah….“
The majority of the comments take CJ’s side, with one person saying, “It’s so frustrating because they know they’re just being inconsiderate.” Another commenter adds, “Leave it right at the start of the driveway. Trying to send a person on a hiking adventure.” One person calls out the customer for not thinking about the driver: “I hope those homeowners see this. That’s a ridiculous request. Those people need to be better humans.“
CJ continues to post fun BTS videos of a ‘typical day’ for him as a driver. These can be found on his channel @cjtheboss0914.
