What started out as a day of outdoor chores has suddenly gone viral on TikTok. A North Carolina man is seen recording a woman using her car in a threatening manner. He was nearly struck several times, which ultimately led to the woman’s arrest.
Posted by TikTok user Iammrwack, Mr. Wack, he recorded himself trying to move a trashcan into place. However, it was unable to due to a wild Karen intentionally parking near his mailbox. Clearly annoyed, he says, “I don’t get it.” The Karen drives her vehicle out of the way, with Mr. Wack thinking she was finally done with her shenanigans.
Sadly, the Karen makes a 360-turn towards Mr. Wack, nearly striking him in the street. He asks her if she’s going to hit him, and she says, “No,” while backing up. You can tell he’s annoyed and just trying to get his job done as she pulls back into the same spot.
As Mr. Wack walks around to the driver’s side, the Karen asks him if he can “smell” the trash. She continuously asks him, “Do you smell it? Do you smell it, mother[expletive]?” Mr. Wack, with the patience of a saint, says nothing other than to “please move.”
He finally puts the trash can out at the road, and she backs up into it, trying to knock it down. She’s hardly paying attention and once again nearly hits Mr. Wack on the way out. Though she doesn’t hit him, she does hit the neighbor’s trashcan and scratches her own vehicle in the process.
In an update video, he claims the Karen was arrested when the police showed up, and even got footage of it. She was charged with driving while impaired—a DWI—for her driving, and an especially expensive $6,969 bond was placed on her.
Viewers online argue the woman should’ve been charged with more
Not only did the Karen get ridiculed online, some argued she should’ve been charged with far more than just a DWI. After all, they argued, she was wielding her car in a very dangerous manner, resulting in Mr. Wack nearly being hit several times. “Y’all be way too patient when it comes to these folks…” one wrote.
“According to the federal government, her pointing that car at you was attempted murder,” a TikTok user wrote, which is the highest-liked comment on Mr. Wack’s video. Others chimed in, saying it’s the same at the “state and local” level, too.
Some users shared how they would’ve handled the situation. “She’d be digging that garbage out of her car and her lap if that was me.”
One keen-eyed observer noticed a rather odd sticker on the back. “Does her sticker really say ‘be the reason someone has a better day‘ and then acts like that?!?!” they said. So add ‘hypocrite’ to her list of offenses, too.
Hopefully this is a wake-up call for her, because that kind of behavior makes her a danger to herself as much as everyone else.
