A Tennessee woman wasn’t about to sit idly by when she ran into a Karen in the wild. The belligerent woman was celebrating her birthday but her pizzas weren’t ready at the local Pizza Hut when she arrived. So, instead of waiting, she decided to take her anger out on the workers.
According to the original post on TikTok, user Kacey_michelle was apparently in such a hurry, she decided to berate the workers and “she made a worker cry,” who was described as the “sweetest as can be.” Additionally, the old Karen was allegedly “being rude” to other customers as well.
In the video, the unhappy Karen is heard saying, “Thanks for ruining the birthday party.” Kacey, standing nearby claps back, saying, “And you’re still running your mouth.” When the Karen notices Kacey is talking to her, she turns her attention to her and says, “Shut up!” Kacey tells her to get out of the store if she isn’t happy.
At this point, the angry woman bolts toward the employee. Kacey stands up and gets in the Karen’s face and the battle begins. She tells the woman, “Go out if you don’t like it.” The woman whines that it’s her birthday. Kacey clearly doesn’t care and tells her there are plenty of other places, like Little Caesar’s and Dominoes.
Of course, the only thing the Karen has to say back to Kacey is that she’s “fat.” After she says it, she flees the scene and goes back to harass the workers. Kacey and her friend tell the workers, “Refund her money. Do not service her!”
The Internet Reacts, Giving Kacey Props and Ridiculing the Customer
Unsurprisingly, Kacey’s TikTok video blew up, resulting in hundreds of comments that were thankfully she stood up for the Pizza Hut employees and for giving the customer what they felt she deserved. One viewer wrote, “Yesss queen thank you for standing up for the worker,” which got thousands of Likes, including Kacey’s.
“I’m never at the right place at the right time,” another commenter said. Some agreed, sharing that they too would’ve reacted the same way as Kacey.
Many who commented were either working or former food industry workers and they too shared their gratitude. “As an ex Pizza Hut employee, thank you 😆” one wrote, while another said “Followed immediately.”
It’s clear from the response that even on your birthday, you don’t get a pass to be rude. Otherwise, someone much sassier than you will speak up!
