The official claimed that a book depicting two men “making out” while wearing BDSM clothing was accessible in some schools and questioned whether this should be permitted. “You got guys in kink outfits,” he added, pressing the superintendent on the appropriateness of the content.

The official pushed back, saying, “But you’re okay with kindergartners looking at,” and continued pressing the issue. He added, “Is this your goal?
