A woman in North Carolina was exposed for falsely claiming that a restaurant gave her a damaged food container before directing a racial slur at the restaurant’s manager during the confrontation.
The video was first shared by the woman herself. It began with her arguing with the restaurant’s manager and staff before she explained what she said had led to the confrontation. The footage then showed her picking up an order from the restaurant. While standing outside the business, she described the area as being in the “ghetto.”
The video then showed the woman returning to the restaurant and saying she was dissatisfied because she had received unsweet tea instead of the sweet tea she said she ordered. “Who the [expletive] wants unsweet tea?” she said. The manager then appeared, handed her a replacement drink, and told her, “have a good day.”
The next part of the video showed the woman returning to the restaurant again, claiming that she had been given a damaged food container. She filmed the container in her hand, which appeared to be damaged. While waiting for staff to respond, she continued using profanity inside the restaurant.
The situation escalated after the woman began filming the manager and claimed that the manager had accused her of being the one who dropped the food container. As the woman continued using profanity, the manager laughed and raised her middle finger. “[expletive] you too [expletive],” the woman responded.
The woman continued filming the manager while directing profanity toward her. After the woman threatened to post the video online, the manager responded, “Put me on everything.” Before leaving the restaurant, the woman used a racial slur directed at White people, saying, “I hate [expletive] [racial slur].”
The restaurant later released surveillance footage that showed the woman dropping the food container herself. The video, recorded outside the restaurant, appeared to show the container falling while she was getting into her car. It is unclear whether the incident led to any further action beyond the videos shared online.
Viewers Criticize North Carolina Woman Over Her Behavior
The video sparked reactions online. Many viewers criticized the North Carolina woman over her conduct in the videos, with some accusing her of lying about the damaged container and others condemning her use of a racial slur. “Some people just refuse to take accountability,” one person wrote. Another replied, “This isn’t even refusal to accept accountability, this is straight delulu, mental illness when facts and truth make you react like this.”
Other viewers also criticized the woman following the video’s release. One person wrote, “Maybe if she didn’t have those ridiculous, ugly [expletive] nails on her hands and stupid weave full of fake hair in her face she could concentrate on holding things without dropping them.” Another commented, “This is how it works now = black people make ragebait videos and white people make them popular. STOP POSTING THIS.”
The video sparked a conversation about allegations that some customers falsely blame businesses for mistakes. This is in an effort to obtain refunds or replacements. It also led to broader discussions about the use of racial slurs during public confrontations. In addition to how quickly disagreements can escalate.
