The love that couple Mikayla and Austin Dunsmuir was seen by 75 guests at an outdoor wedding in South Carolina. Mikayla thought of the sweetest way to show her love to her husband, which left nary a dry eye in the entire venue and left her new husband knowing that she’s the one.
In the video, Mikayla developed a special audio recording to play while she was waiting to walk down the aisle. As Austin was turned around and waiting for his beautiful bride, he heard,
“Hi baby, it’s me, your bride! I wanted you to take a moment to relax your nerves before I walk out of these doors. Breathe in this moment, feel every emotion, because this entire day is going to fly by. I just want you to know I’d do it all again, through every journey I’ve been on and every road I’ve gone down, I wouldn’t have changed a single thing because it led me to you, this exact moment. We finally made it.”
The bride continued to tell Austin about how he’s her soulmate. Her best friend! “I cannot wait for everything that is to come, every adventure we take after this as husband and wife. I love you more than anything. Alright, are you ready? Here I come. I can’t wait to see you,” and then the reveal. When Mikayla walked out, Austin turned around and she was completely moved to find her soon-to-be husband in tears. He was completely blown away by the gesture and finally seeing his bride in that moment.
Mikayla said that it was not only Austin who was blown away by the moment. She also said, “All my bridesmaids started crying immediately, my parents were crying. Austin was obviously
sobbing as soon as he heard my voice. Everyone was just really shocked.”
The South Carolina videographer who helped make Mikayla’s spectacular wedding dream come true also attached a microphone to Austin’s suit, which recorded his cries of happiness during the moment and private comments he made to Mikayla after the special moment so that they could truly remember it forever. To this, Mikayla said, “I didn’t even know that was part of the plan. When I got the video back, I was like, ‘Oh my God, they put a microphone on him!’ And it’s so cute.”
Mikayla was also so excited to see her father in the moment, who had the most touching and loving facial expressions as he walked his daughter down the aisle. You could tell that he was doing everything it took to hold back his tears. She mentioned that she and her dad are very close and they “talked about that moment forever.”
One of her favorite moments of the South Carolina wedding was when she reached Austin at the altar, who said, “You look beautiful,“ and then turned to her father and told him, “She’s absolutely beautiful.”
