Olivia Dunne has sparked a storm on Instagram while showing off boyfriend Paul Skenes. The LSU gymnast, who recently celebrated her 22nd birthday, updated her account with photos of her baseball player beau four days ago, but her “my little rookie” showoff only wound up causing drama.
Sharing loved-up snaps as she also showed off her figure in a tight pair of cutoff shorts, Olivia flaunted her athlete figure in yet another cute look, but it was neither her outfits nor her boyfriend causing the problems. When a fan accused Olivia of being all about the cash, users jumped in to defend her. In a rare clap-back, the American Eagle ambassador herself also swooped in to shut down the shamer. Olivia earns seven figures from her staggeringly successful endorsement deals, and it looks like this fan was jealous.

Walking through a hallway with him in another photo, the rising celebrity showed off her legs in a cute denim miniskirt and strappy top, with a more affectionate photo following as she hugged Paul while in ripped black Daisy Dukes. Wearing white boots with Paul’s name embellished onto them, Olivia showed major dedication via her fashion statement, with further images including an “ALL STAR” balloon display as the couple embraced.
Showing her support as she attended one of Paul’s games in the final slide, Olivia closed her gallery with a smile, posing from a stadium. While the post earned Olivia over 300,000 likes, it’s also caused drama.
Comments Are ‘Embarrassing’ As She Claps Back
Gaining over 330 likes was a fan writing: “All she sees is money.” The reply came just days after Olivia debuted a new brand deal with skincare company Aveeno on TikTok, where she is followed by over 8 million.
Defending the blonde, one user said: “That was the dumbest comment in the history of Instagram.” Another, meanwhile, replied: “U ain’t ever getting that money like she does.”
Suggesting that the user try reaching Olivia’s level of success, a further fan said: “Get on her level. Obviously, you don’t know who she is. Truly embarrassing.”
Olivia gained likes for her reply. “Bro never heard of NIL ig,” the gymnast replied as over 1,000 users liked her comment.
Olivia’s career took off during the early parts of the pandemic, when her fun and flexible displays on TikTok went viral. The 2024 ESPYs face has since risen to become a mega-influencer, fronting brands including Vuori Clothing, Planet Fitness, Pro Plan, and Plantfuel.
