A video has surfaced of the current Administrator of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency condemning the likes of former Tennessee Senator Al Gore and U.S. Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez because of their “stupid climate predictions.”

Users on the social media platform X quickly went into the comments to share their opinions, with many arguing against his words, while others agreed with him and believed that there is no change in the climate.

I told Senator Sheldon WhiteClub today that I won’t be listening to or caring about any of his lessons on morality knowing that he joined an all-white Rhode Island Country Club.

The video above features Lee Zeldin, where he is quoted saying, “When predictions are made in the past, science will have a range of the pessimistic to the optimistic, and in order to justify, for example, the 2009 Endangerment Fund, they were adopting the most pessimistic views of the science. Now, when you get to 2026, great news, you’re able to rely on present-day facts in 2026 rather than any bad assumptions from 2009.“

To accompany his statement, he also wrote, “I told Senator Sheldon WhiteClub today that I won’t be listening to or caring about any of his lessons on morality knowing that he joined an all-white Rhode Island Country Club. I’m also done with the likes of AOC, Al Gore, John Kerry, and the rest of the lying cabal that make stupid climate predictions, plunder tens of billions of tax dollars, enrich their well-connected allies, and are committed to strangulating out of existence entire sectors of our economy.“

Reactions to Lee Zeldin Refusing to Listen to Green New Deal

Commenters were quick to give their opinions on Zeldin’s words, with many posting statistics that post information concerning climate change evidence. One person wrote, “The EPA Administrator can’t tell the difference between an IPCC policy deadline and an apocalypse prediction. He thinks Gore warning about AMOC collapse is a flip-flop on warming. It isn’t. It’s basic oceanography. 2024 was the hottest year ever recorded. 60% of reefs bleaching. Greenland hemorrhaging ice. The only scam is the one Lee Zeldin is running for his fossil fuel donors.“

Another person wrote, “What a colossal joke you are. You work for us. We pay for your luxury life. You answer to us. Your smears and disrespect show who you are not them. Don’t get comfortable.”

Other comments were in agreement with Zeldin, with one person referring to religion and saying, “God will end us when He is good and ready, not fake climate change. Without climate change, how can they explain the revolving climate throughout the ages? Stupid people should not breed! If we need to prove it, we can easily point to the people you’ve mentioned to prove it.”

It is currently unclear if Lee Zeldin plans to do anything with the Green New Deal, an attempt to transition to 100% clean and renewable energy sources to eliminate the usage of fossil fuels.
