Donald Trump is facing backlash online after posting an AI-generated image of Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker, which many users criticized as mocking the governor’s appearance
In an image shared by Trump on Truth Social, Pritzker was depicted with exaggerated weight, which many viewers saw as a mocking portrayal. In the AI-generated image, Pritzker appeared to be eating a burger while holding a pizza, surrounded by fast food items. One item even included the phrase “Jumbo Sized.” The image also included the caption, “JB is too busy to keep Chicago safe!” After the post spread online, it quickly sparked backlash, with critics accusing Trump of mocking Pritzker’s appearance. Some users responded by creating and sharing edited images targeting Trump.
This was not the first time Trump appeared to mock Pritzker over his weight. An account on X resurfaced an older video, allegedly from 2025, in which Trump discussed jokes written for him about Pritzker’s weight. In the clip, Trump said he would never make fun of someone’s weight and claimed that he “don’t talk about people being fat.” He then followed the remark by saying he would not comment further on Pritzker’s weight, while still making a disparaging reference to the governor’s appearance. Toward the end of the video, Trump also commented on his own appearance, saying he would like to lose a few pounds.
