Customizing your character and weapons is one of the major aspects of competitive games like Overwatch 2. People tend to customize in order to show what they like and what are their preferred aesthetics. How to Get Golden Weapons in Overwatch 2
The golden weapons have been one of the most popular weapon skins not only in Overwatch but in video games in general. In Overwatch 2 you can get golden weapons by purchasing them with 3,000 Competitive Points.
So the first step in acquiring golden weapons in Overwatch 2 is to get some Competitive Points. As the name suggests, you can only acquire these points by playing Competitive matches. You will get 15 Points for each game you win and five points for each tied game.
As you can see it is not that easy to get 3,000 Competitive Points. Nonetheless, you will also get some extra rewards at the end of the season depending on your tier. Here is the full list of Competitive tiers and their amount of reward:
- Bronze – 65
- Silver – 125
- Gold – 250
- Platinum: 500
- Diamond: 750
- Master: 1,200
- Grandmaster 1,750
- Top 500 – 1,750
Once you acquired the required amount of Competitive Points to purchase a Golden weapon head to the Heroes tab in Main Menu. Then choose a hero and select Weapons at the bottom of the menu. From there you should be able to select the golden variant of the weapon and unlock it with the 3,000 Competitive Points you have gained.

The good thing is, apart from golden weapons, other cosmetics don’t need Competitive Points. So apart from Golden weapons, you will not be missing any other thing.
