Like any other multiplayer game as massive as Overwatch 2, player achievements are everything. They allow you to feel accomplished and even give you the chance to show off a bit about just how much you’ve put into the game. However, unlike its predecessor, Overwatch 2 lacks any actual player levels. Instead, you’ll gain different Titles based on various accomplishments. We’ll show you how you can earn these Player Titles in Overwatch 2.
Earn Player Titles in Overwatch 2
Player Titles are a new unlockable feature in Overwatch 2 that players push for beyond unlocking skins. These Titles highlight a specific challenge, milestone, or another accomplishment you’ve achieved. How you earn them completely depends on the Title itself.
There is a variety of them in the game, but they are separated into 3 categories: Overwatch, Competitive, and Battle Pass. As you can see, there are some you can’t unlock without having the Battle Pass.
You don’t have to wonder about what challenges offer you to earn Titles in Overwatch 2. Nothing is hidden underneath the various categories.
If you head over to the ‘Challenges’ menu, you can tell which one provides a Title thanks to the “T” as well as the word “Title” next to it. We’ve captured an image below so you know what it looks like:
Alongside that, you can also customize the Titles you show off in Overwatch 2. In your career profile, head to the “Customization” tab. Go down to “Player Titles” and select among the ones you have unlocked.
This is just one of many ways that you can customize your player profile in the game. With Player Titles, you can also play around with Player Icons and Name Cards. This way, you no longer have to rely on your level for everyone to see just how much time you’ve spent in the game. Rather, Player Titles will indicate all the beaten challenges you’ve mastered in Overwatch 2.
