We all know that, nowadays, game companies are always looking for ways to make an extra buck. One of the trends that have happened in the past years is selling cosmetics. This is something great because it doesn’t offer any advantage. However, players expect to wear those skins and look at them when playing with their characters. We guess the new Overwatch 2 game didn’t get the memo. Right now, there are some Overwatch 2 Mei Skins for sale in the game, however, said character is nowhere to be found, given she was removed from the game last month. With so many bugs, some characters are benched, waiting to be fixed.
The New Overwatch 2 Mei Skin Costs 1000 Overwatch Coins
A user on Reddit has showcased the new skin but stated that Mei is not even playable. This is something that has happened with other heroes as well. Bastion had a huge bug that let him eliminate all enemies from the map with its ultimate ability. Besides that, players are getting trapped inside spawn rooms, characters with hands too big that they block headshots, and so on. While Blizzard gave players compensation, the bugs are still there, and by the looks of it, they’ll remain there for more time.
Mei is still disabled, yet they release a new skin for her that costs $10?

Overwatch 2 Microtransactions Could Change in the Future
With the new Overwatch 2 Mei Skin, some players believe that the communication process inside the company is bad. Releasing a skin for a hero that is not playable seems like a weird strategy. Blizzard tends to do their blue posts talking about bugs and things like that, so we hope we can see Mei coming back. For now, all we can do is admire the skin or buy it and wait for the hero to become available. However, if you’re not a fan of Overwatch 2, you can try any other Blizzard games. Tomorrow is the second phase of the WoW Dragonflight Pre-patch. Or, if you prefer, Modern Warfare 2, published by Activision, is also up with a lot of players jumping into matches.
