Overwatch 2 follows the footsteps of the original, pulling massive numbers. The game largely retains the mechanics and style of Overwatch while adding quality-of-life changes and subtle improvements here and there. Being a freebie has helped the player count tremendously as well. Overwatch 2 has more options than ever. One such option is ‘Aim Assist Ease In’. In this guide, we will cover what Aim Assist Ease In is in Overwatch 2.

What Is Aim Assist Ease In In Overwatch 2?

Overwatch 2 Aim Assist Ease in

Overwatch 2‘s Aim Assist Ease In, as the name suggests, is a control option in the game. Console first-person shooters often come with some amount of Aim Assist On, allowing the reticle to focus on/loosely lock on to enemies. Overwatch 2‘s Aim Assist Ease-In allows players to vary the amount of Aim Assist they can have in the game.

Having a lower Aim Assist Ease-In will dramatically increase the Aim Assist in the game, making it easier to hit targets. This can, however, impact skill and might serve as a way to hinder the game of those used to a higher sensitivity without Aim Assist. At the same time, this can be a great way for beginners to get a better gist of the shooting.

Having a higher Aim Assist Ease In will reduce Aim Assist, making it ideal for players that dislike the feature and a good way to get used to the game without assist to drastically increase your skill.

Altering this feature depending on characters is also a genius strategy in the game. Players who are unsure of what to do should leave the feature at 50%.
