Paige DeSorbo and Craig Conover are crushing some couple goals already. Summer House‘s Paige Desorbo is also ready to move on to the next stage of their relationship. However, her definition of that confuses Craig. Read on for more details.
Paige DeSorbo And Craig Conover’s Versions Of Being Engaged
After three years of platonic friendship, Paige and Craig became an official couple in September 2021. At the time of their meeting, they were in a relationship with other people.
Craig was with Natalie Hegnauer, a castmate on Southern Charm, while Paige was with Perry Rahbar. The two got together after breaking up with their former partners.
Speaking with Us Weekly at BravoCon 2022 on Saturday, October 15, Paige DeSorbo divulged that the Pillow Talk author moved into her place, which was her definition of being engaged.” The 29-year-old also added that her partner was close to tears when she opened her house to him.
However, Craig Conover had a different view of what being engaged means. Although the 33-year-old is hopeful that they will walk down the altar someday, he doesn’t think he and the Spare Me star are already engaged.
“Well, I mean, her definition of getting engaged is very confusing to me,” he said. “People keep asking me when [I’m] gonna [propose] and I’m like, ‘When she’s ready.’ [But] we’ve only been dating for a little over a year.”
Craig Conover Wants To Marry Summer House’s Paige DeSorbo
The Sewing Down South founder also disclosed that although he and Paige have not discussed the issue of getting engaged and getting married yet, he is ready to tie the knot with his partner.
“My definition of being engaged is different on hers. Mine is just like, ‘Yeah, cool, we both know we’re gonna get married to her, and I didn’t realize [moving in together] starts a clock,” the Summer House star said.
Craig and Paige were in a long-distance relationship for most of their romance. However, the pair was able to make things work by commuting between Charleston, where Craig lives, and New York, where Paige stays.
If marriage is in the works, they must figure out who will move in with the other. Paige, however, previously hinted that she would be the one to move to Charleston if they have to take the big step.
The couple also needs to communicate better to avoid unnecessary issues, such as whether they are engaged or not yet. Hopefully, they will both do the needful in time to prevent confusing situations like this in the future.
