Wraeclast beckons once more for ARPG fans as Path of Exile 2 inches closer to release. Granted, Path of Exile 2’s full release is still likely a while off. However, you can get a taste of what’s to come as we’ll be detailing the Path of Exile 2 beta release date and how you can witness Wraeclast’s loot smorgasbord earlier.
When is the Path of Exile 2 Beta Release Date?
The Path of Exile 2 beta or to be more specific, the Path of Exile 2 Closed Beta will take place on June 7, 2024. That’s roughly six months from now and it’s still the same date that was announced back in ExileCon 2023 which was held back in July 2023. During the Closed Beta test, the developers and the game studio will also gauge player interest and reception to see exactly when a full release might be possible. So a lot still hinges on this Closed Beta test.
No Official Way to Join the Path of Exile 2 Beta for Now
At the time of writing, there’s still no official announcement on precisely how to join or sign up for the selection of the Path of Exile Closed Beta. After all, it’s still several months to go before the beta testing takes place.
In certain cases, you might need an invitation from GGG themselves to participate in the Closed Beta. Presumably, GGG will also send invitations to streamers or media outlets.
When Does Path of Exile 2 Come Out?
It’s time to address the elephant in the room. Sadly, there’s still currently no official information on Path of Exile 2’s full release. We’ll update you promptly in case this hopefully changes. It hasn’t even held its first Closed or Open test yet so expecting Path of Exile 2 to release in 2024 is somewhat implausible. Rough estimates point to 2025 or early 2025 though take that with a grain of salt.
