Through the developer’s official Discord, the company has revealed that the Kickstarter for the next game is coming, so get your wallets ready because this is a project many might want to support.
According to the company’s official Discord, the Kickstarter for the next ‘My Time at‘ game is coming during the second half of September 2024. While My Time at Sandrock feels as if it launched yesterday, Pathea Games isn’t hitting the brakes. On the contrary, we’re getting the official reveal in a few weeks, which is unbelievable. However, as many may know, the development cycle of the ‘My Time at‘ games tends to last a few years. So, don’t expect a full version soon.
With the announcement, speculation about the new name has sparked on the internet. Many believe we might finally see Highwind, especially since we heard about this place during Sandrock. Others believe it will be a proper PC version based on Project ME. Whatever the case, this small announcement is reason enough to be excited.
Personally, I’m more excited about the new character proportions you can see in the Reddit post I included above. I don’t mind the big-head characters taken from a Tim Burton movie. However, I feel that the new proportions are much better and will attract an even bigger playerbase. Yet, I’m just speculating now due to excitement, as nothing has been set in stone yet.
