Pink Responds On Twitter After Facing Backlash
Pink, Mya, Lil’ Kim, and Christina Aguilera collaborated to create the music video. However, Pink mentioned in her interview that Kim and Mya were nice and noticeably omitted Christina’s name.
Pink’s comment led to some Twitter users accusing her of “shading” Christina Aguilera making her comment instantly go viral.
The “Trust Fall” singer responded over the weekend to set the record straight.
“Y’all are nuts,” she wrote on Twitter, addressing those saying she was shading. “Xtina had sh** to do with who was on that song.” She added that she was not shading her fellow singer.
“If you don’t know by now- I’m not “shading someone by telling it over and over and over what actually happened.”
Pink added that she had no interest in the drama the Twitter users were trying to pull because she has been selling.
“And by selling- I mean tickets and albums and bake sales and s–.” she also tweeted, clarifying what she meant by “selling.”
Pink And Christina Are Not In A Feud Anymore
Pink and Christina Aguilera have a history of public fights and reconciliations, as their fans are well aware.
Pink claimed that a record executive overstepped during the “Lady Marmalade” recording in a 2009 VH1 Behind the Music show. However, the pair have since reconciled.
Fans are probably still unsure about where the singers are currently in their relationship. They may have thought they still had a feud going on, hence, the backlash.
