GTA Online cut content beta
This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information.

GTA Online is filled with many mysteries and weird situations. This makes sense as the game was Rockstar’s focus for many years, and the team worked on numerous content expansions and features for the game. As Rockstar released many updates, it also canceled a lot. Surely dozens of features could have been planned to offer a fun experience but were canceled for one reason or another. However, sometimes those canceled versions could get uncovered by players. That’s achievable with some third-party tools and special techniques to discover the game’s hidden features. Today, a beta version of GTA Online was revealed by a player, and it contains a pre-release version of the game.

GTA Online Beta Is Discovered by Player

The beta is from one of the early versions of GTA Online. The beta has a different logo, menu, and characters; most of today’s beloved features don’t exist. It’s also funny to see some assets that are taken from Max Payne 3, but they’re not included in the full release of the game. Since there are no major differences between the GTA 5 and GTA Online worlds, everything we see in Los Santos is familiar. But we can easily notice that the game is incomplete, and some assets look different. Especially the menus look less user-friendly.

The GTA Online you never got to see...

It’s worth noting that the GTA Online beta isn’t a leak; it already exists in the game but is only accessible with some tricks made with the Xenia interface. There’s even a tutorial explaining how to access the beta. The player who made this discovery also mentions that the beta is playable with friends, which sounds like a blast to try out. The differences seem interesting, and the cut content is worth playing for the ones who are interested in inspecting the game’s evolution. We are surprised by some features shown in the video, such as the character structure working just like the main GTA 5 game.
