The PlayStation Games of A Generation sale ends on 10/15/2020 at 2:59 AM EST. With a little over 24 hrs to save, I made a list of recommendations to pick up before the end of the Games of a Generation sale and Games under 15 deals. Remember gamers and fellow nerds, Black Friday/Thanksgiving deals are a little over a month away. Some of these deals do have an additional discount if you are a PlayStation Plus member. Without further adieu, here’s everything I recommend you pick up in the sale.
A Way Out – When A Way Out first released in 2018, the game made a few ripples in the gaming ocean. Despite offering free co-op sessions, A Way Out was overshadowed by Detective Pikachu, Sea of Thieves, and the upcoming Far Cry 5. On top of that, the game suffers from an ending that left many players yearning for an alternate ending. The game up to the end is an enjoyable and fun experience. In the past, A Way Out has dropped below $10 on PlayStation. If you don’t want to wait to see what it will be during Black Friday, then it’s a great grab.
Batman: Arkham Collection – The Arkham Franchise is without a doubt one of the best game franchises out there. If it was not for the success of the Arkham franchise, the gaming industry might have never seen Marvel’s Avengers or Marvel’s Spider-Man (2018). Early this year, Batman Arkham Knight was free to PlayStation Plus members; despite the game receiving positive reviews, many consider it the worst out of the primary three titles. For those interested, the collection offers Batman Arkham Asylum, City, and Knight for under $15.
L.A. Noire – L.A. Noire is by far is one of my favorite titles of all time. Between murder, arson, narcotics, burglary, and more, the player has a lot of crimes to solve while uncovering an even deeper mystery. Rockstar put a lot of effort into remastering the game for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. This remastering made fans of L.A.Noire crave a sequel. See why many still view this game as one of Rockstar’s best titles with this Games of a Generation deal.
Watch Dogs 2: Deluxe Edition – Watch Dogs 2 shows that the sequel of a popular game can indeed be better than the original. With less than a month until Watch Dogs: Legion, Watch Dogs 2 provides players with a deeper insight into the Watch Dogs universe. This title is still in my backlog, but for 80% off on PlayStation, who can argue with that deal?
Close to the Sun – This is an indie title that left many craving a sequel or another Bioshock. Close to the Sun introduces players to the world of the Helios, an alternate reality where Tesla and Einstein battle out for technological supremacy. Although the story is only about 4hrs long if you speed run it, the game will leave you questioning the ending and wanting to know more. It’d be a crime for you to not pick this up in the PlayStation sale.
Below is a list of every game on sale for the next 24 hours through the PlayStation Games of a Generation and Games Under 15 sales.
