Sony has officially announced all the new games PlayStation Plus subscribers will be getting access to in May 2024. The new additions will join the PlayStation Plus catalog soon, but you need to be subscribed to the Extra or the Premium tier to get access to the games. If you’re subscribed to the Essential tier only, you will still get access to the monthly free games. Premium subscribers will also get a few extra classic titles as well.

The list of new games joining the service is quite impressive and should have something for everyone. The headliners are Red Dead Redemption 2 and Watch Dogs. But even though they will be playable, it will only be the PS4 version of the games even if you’re playing on PS5. And if you’ve been subscribed to any tier of PlayStation Plus for a long time, you probably already own both as monthly Essential Games.

With the additions of a few major games, another one is leaving the catalog. Horizon Zero Dawn will leave the service in May, so if you’ve been putting it off, now is the last chance to play it. All the new games will become available on May 21, and Horizon Zero Dawn will be removed from the catalog on the same day.

Microsoft also revealed all the new games coming to Game Pass this week, which includes Ninja Theory’s highly anticipated psychological action RPG, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II.
