This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information.

Murkrow is a rare Dark and Flying Type Pokémon in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl that is exclusive to Brilliant Diamond. To find this Pokémon, players must head to the Grand Underground, Lost Tower, or Eterna Forest. After encountering Murkrow, players can use Quick Balls to quickly catch it at the start of a battle. On the other hand, Dusk Balls are also effective against Murkrow, as it is a Pokémon typically found in caves or at nighttime. Once Murkrow has been captured, it can evolve to a Honchkrow by using a Dusk Stone in Pokémon BDSP.

Pokémon BDSP Evolve Murkrow

To get a Dusk Stone for evolving Murkrow in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl, players must travel to Bogsunk Cavern within the Grand Underground zone. The cavern can be accessed by going underground along Route 213’s southern beach or by following the underground path from Sunyshore City.

Another way to get a Dusk Stone in Pokémon BDSP is by having Pokémon use the “Pickup” ability. With Pickup, Pokémon who aren’t holding items have a chance to randomly acquire a Dusk Stone. However, this method is unreliable for players aiming to evolve Murkrow in Pokémon BDSP.

If a player has the Strength Hidden Move for moving boulders, they can find a Dusk Stone at the top-left corner of Victory Road. Additionally, another Dusk Stone can be found within the Team Galactic Storage Warehouse. To acquire the key to enter it, players must talk to the Team Galactic Grunt standing in front of the Team Galactic’s HQ in Veilstone. Be sure to only do this after defeating the Snowpoint City Gym Leader, Candice. Once players obtain a Dusk Stone, they can evolve Murkrow into Honchkrow in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl.
