So can you get Shiny Pikipek in Pokemon Go? Since their introduction to Pokรฉmon Go, Shiny Pokรฉmon has been a prized trophy for any Pokรฉmon Trainer. Of course, everyone dreams of the legendary and mythical Shiny Pokemon, but even the most ordinary Shiny Pokemon will be a pleasant end to a day of diligent Pokemon hunting. Pikipek is a small Pokรฉmon from the Alola region, which appeared in the game relatively recently. Unfortunately, you can not get the Shiny Pikipek, as it hasn’t been added to the game yet, and there’s no way you can get it. But shortly, you will be able to do this, and further, we will tell you exactly how.

Can You Get Shiny Pikipek in Pokemon Go

With the introduction of hundreds of Pokรฉmon from new regions, older Pokรฉmon have started getting their Shiny versions. At the same time, Pokรฉmon from new regions are much less likely to be Shiny. Pokemon from the Alola region has appeared in the game relatively recently, which is why only a few of them have a shiny version. Unfortunately, Pikipek is out of luck and is not one of them yet. But as we said, this will change shortly.

Pikipek is the most common Normal and Flying-type Pokรฉmon that looks like a small woodpecker. This Pokemon lives almost everywhere, which is why you can meet it in any part of your city. Based on this, you will be able to get a Shiny Pikipek with a 1/500 chance as soon as it appears in the game. Most likely, the developers will even increase the chance of it appearing when it happens, and you will be able to get it even faster.

So why are we sure that Pikipek will get a shiny version soon? Almost every Pokรฉmon from earlier regions has a Shiny version. In addition, the developers monthly add several dozen new shiny Pokemon to the game, and Alola Pokemon are gradually included in their number. For example, Alolan Exeggutor and Alolan Persian already have their Shiny versions, and you can get them. Most often, developers keep shiny versions of rare Pokemon for some holidays. But Pikipek is the most common Pokemon, which means that its shiny version will appear in the game in no more than a couple of months.

At the same time, while Shiny Pikipek is not available in the game, you can use this time to replenish your collection with older Shiny Pokรฉmon, such as Shinyย  Squirtle. And as soon as Shiny Pikipek appears in the game, we will tell you about it and the best ways to get this cute little Pokรฉmon.

Pokemon GO is available on iOS and Android.
