Want to get Shiny Ledyba in Pokemon Go? Ledyba is a cute Bug and Flying-type Pokémon native to the Johto region. Like many other Pokémon in Pokémon Go, Ledyba has its Shiny version, and you can get it. You’re lucky because Ledyba appears in the world quite often, which means you have a good chance of getting a shiny version of her. There are several ways to get Shiny Ledyba, and the easiest way – is to catch her in the world with a 1/500 chance. Unfortunately, the best time to find Shiny Ledyba has passed, as this Pokémon was everywhere during Ledyba’s Spotlight Hour on July 5th. But don’t get upset. There are other ways to get Shiny Ledyba in the game, and we will tell you about them in our guide.

How to Get Shiny Ledyba in Pokemon Go

As we said, you can get Shiny Ledyba by walking around the city. Of course, the chance of catching Shiny Ledyba is only 1 in 500. But on the other hand, Ledyba is a common Pokémon so you will find it quite often. This method is not the best in the game but the most passive-efficient.

You cannot increase the chance of finding Shiny Ledyba, but you can increase the number of Ledyba around you:

  • Travel in Ledyba’s habitats, where there are a lot of trees, grass, and other greenery. Ledyba loves fields and parks, and you should walk there.
  • In addition, it is worth using Incense while walking. It will cause more Pokémon to spawn around, including Ledyba.

The methods described above only slightly increase the chances of getting Shiny Ledyba due to more attempts.

But luckily, there is another way to get Shiny Ledyba. Sometimes you can find Gyms where Ledyba is a raid boss. By defeating Ledyba, you will get a chance to catch her with a chance of 1/20. The only problem is that Ledyba is a rare guest in raid gyms, and you will not be able to use this method all the time.

But if you still managed to find a suitable raid, it’s worth remembering that Ledyba is a Bug and Flying-type Pokémon. Defeating Ledyba is no problem, but knowing she is weak against Rock-type attacks is better. Use any Pokémon that can deal Rock-type damage to win faster. If you’re lucky, you will get the opportunity to catch Shiny Ledyba after winning in the raid.

Pokemon GO is available on iOS and Android.
