The Electric- and Fairy-type Land Spirit Legendary Tapu Koko has returned to the Raid scene of Pokémon GO and will be featured as a 5-Star Raid Boss from Wednesday, January 25, 2023, to Wednesday, February 1, 2023. Like battling with any Legendary pocket monster, defeating Tapu Koko will be a feat involving multiple Trainers. Those with high-end combatants equipped with optimal Movesets will likely be able to take down this Land Spirit Legendary in groups of three or fewer. However, players with more standard or weaker pocket monsters will need a larger Raid party of at least six or more to achieve victory.

How to Counter Tapu Koko in a Pokémon GO Raid

Facing Tapu Koko in a Pokémon GO Raid

Countering Tapu Koko in a Pokémon GO Raid can be a challenging task but becomes much easier once players understand the Legendary’s weaknesses. As an Electric- and Fairy-type Land Spirit Pokémon, Tapu Koko is resistant to Fighting-, Bug-, Flying-, Electric-, Dark-, and Dragon-type Moves but weak to Poison- and Ground-type attacks.

With the weaknesses above in mind, Trainers can use the following counters recommended by Pokebattler to defeat Tapu Koko in a Pokémon GO Raid:
